It can either block the entire URL in the address bar of the browser, or it can block the website that is mentioned by the user for a pre-determined period of time. It can even register and display an error message to be shown to the user when accessing any blocked site. So the application has a wide spectrum of functionalities in any Chrome laptop.

Chromebook’s remarkable feature is the “Incognito Window” where the user can access any website of their choice but leave no trace after closing it and can even preserve the files downloaded from there in their Google laptop. The Website Blocker can be used to allow the Incognito mode by opening a new Incognito Window and going to the extension manager section and selecting the “Allow in Incognito” option from there. The Website Blocker functions can be even turned on or off accordingly!

If your taskbar is bugging you then the Website Blocker can even take care of that! Just go to the toolbar icon and right click on it and select the “Hide Button” option in your Chromebook and voila! Apart from all these usages, many new extensions have been released for this application. Some of them can enhance the performance and renew the pop-up extension in any Chrome laptop; some have fixed the meagre number of bugs present in the application while quite a few fan extensions are for the Spanish and Italian translations of this English application.
